Images of Jericho Center Nov 2019 Fall Whiteout

Take a walk on the wild side of Jericho Center.

There might be pre-Thanksgiving snow-people, frosted pumpkins, iced

apples and kissing wipers. Long green stems on twine size branches will bow before you while steeples and wood smoke rise above you. Where firetrucks look like dalmatians and reindeer appear out of nowhere as you recheck the date, yup still November. 'Frozen' glitters everywhere against an eggshell blue sky.

Icicles curl their toes after slipping past the roof edge desperately hanging on.

Velvety red sumac acts as a cone for scoops of vanilla snow. Every stop sign reminds you to look out and beyond to the vistas, not crossing until you see the mountains and all in between.

Horses and tractors alike standstill, preparing for a long-deserved rest while seeds hang from the trees waiting for birds to carry them to fertile ground. Candied like apples left forgotten on the tree shine red against the blue sky and wonder why.

Disheveled piles of firewood await the crafted hands that will stack them in an orderly if not artisan manner.
