Meet Your Jericho Neighbor - Pizza Meet-up

Maeve pulled Stepanie and Ryan's family (name) out of my winter hat along with Joshua's family for the Meet Your Jericho Neighbor Program Drawing. 

Congratulations to both new to Jericho families! 

Both families collect their Pizza at Stones Throw in Jericho.

The "Meet Your Jericho Neighbor for Pizza" Drawing offered free pizzas for two Jericho families with young children and the opportunity to meet with each other. 

The general idea of the program is to facilitate meet-ups of young families with children who are relatively new to Jericho with other young families living in Jericho with similar interests. 

Maeve and I no longer have YOUNG families, but we both remember the Herculean task of raising a family, certainly no less challenging today. And we both remember how much even small gestures as well as actions, meant to our respective families; a visit, an offer to handle a chore, deliver a meal, joining up for a play date with other kids, meeting caring neighbors we had never before met.

It is all about COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS; Building human connection and a sense of belonging by encouraging and facilitating group interactions, while becoming more attuned to our neighbors and community members.
