JFiN Maple Tapping (Jericho Families in Nature) event photos

The JFiN (Jericho Families in Nature) Maple Tree Tapping event was held on February 19, 2023, near the Jericho Library. 

Tom Baribault of Birch Hill Sugar Works proceeded to inform us about some of the histories of maple sugaring and current sap gathering and processing steps.   

Immediately after tapping the maple tree, the sap began to flow.
