Build it (a serpent) and they will come. Well, it takes a village, and with Chris Cleary steering the boat the serpent they built will make its way from Jericho, Vermont to the Burlington Lake Champlain Waterfront for a New Year's Eve Celebration. The Champ sculpture that Chris Cleary and his friends built on his Jericho Center front yard will create its own fireworks on New Year’s Eve at the Burlington waterfront.
But first, the wooden serpent must be loaded onto a truck and carefully strapped down so that it does not jump ship before arriving at the waterfront.
