Cloth Masks Save Lives - Jericho Show us Yours.

Cloth masks save lives. Want essential people to be safe? Want essential people to be alive? Please wear a cloth mask in public when you might encounter other people.

What a great way to put your personality on display. Be creative, have some fun with your mask design or pattern. Switch up from day to day to match your mood or what you want to express to the world. Think Halloween alas, without the candy.

We are in a sea of change, sometimes without the wherewithal to come about. Wearing a cloth mask gives us some control and helps us all to fight the enemy - the COVID Virus.

We must fight complacency and apathy, and make adjustments. Wearing a cloth mask is easy and carries a large positive impact.

Cloth masks are cheerful public notices of people doing their part, working together for the greater good, for the common good.

Jericho, and surrounding communities, show us your cloth mask, show us your creative design, show us your humor.

In a sign of solidarity, and commUnity - Jericho, show us your mask and you behind it. Be creative, be witty, be funny, be serious, be somber, be whatever you feel - send me a photo, of you or you and family, friends, etc. (6' apart) behind your COVID mask and I will publish the commUnity masking 'in good company' photos on this Jericho Vermont blog.  ~Bernie

"I have been repurposing my son’s baby blankets to make masks. 100% Cotten, super soft, and cute as a button! I’ve sent them to family and friends, and additional folks in the community. Happy to contribute more to anyone still looking!"

Stay well,
Jamien Forrest

"If you want to help with the cloth facial covering effort, VDH has a good two-pager.  https://www.healthvermont.gov/sites/default/files/documents/pdf/COVID-19-VDH-mask-guidance.pdf

Remember, “Your mask protects me, and my mask protects you.” This is not the same thing as trying to get a perfect fit on an N95 so that all air goes through the mask, this is to suppress droplet spread and it appears to make a meaningful difference and we want to bury the curve, not just flatten it." ~Lawerence Miller (Consulting firm with experience in crisis management and health care).
