Jericho Christmas Cookie Extravaganza Photos
The event was held on held Dec. 9, 2017, at the Jericho Community Center Brown's Trace Rd., Jericho, Vermont
Joan Vanderploeg of the Jericho
Congregational Church came up with the idea to have the cookie sale in Jericho. All proceeds this year benefit the Community Center, Library, and Food Shelf.
A few folks frosted their cookies to their own personalized taste.
Sweets lovers filled boxes with take-home confections.
Yours truly (Bernie) wasted no time in sampling. The chocolate/butterscotch/peanut-butter squares were my favorite.
Following my purchase of cookies, I quickly crossed the street over to the Jericho Country Store where indeed Santa had stopped in to say hello and no doubt to stock up on a few (Vermont-made) Christmas gifts.
Don't forget to sing a few carols, or at least hum, or whistle. Group caroling is even better for those of us who can't always stay on key - we can blend in with the other carolers and still enjoy singing along. Merry Christmas to all.
